New kate spade/ Florence Broadhurst inspired dress!
Yesterday while I was supposed to be sewing Katie skirts, I whipped up this little dress inspired by the kate spade Florence Broadhurst Cameo Dress.

Gorgeous! I just picked up the pink leather kissing crocs belt in Vegas! As a complete Lilly~aholic, this kate belt works with some of my fave pieces! I love your post about being Over The Top! I too, have to tone it down at times. It is so hard when life is soooooooo exciting!

This dress is beautiful! What pattern did you use? I have the McCall's Plenty by Tracy Reese 6506 that looks similar but without a waistband. I like the waistband look better... any suggestions?

I have my own bodice pattern that I adapted from somewhere...I don't know exactly where. All I did was shorten it and add a band all the way around to make the set in waistband. I just attached the skirt directly to it. I like putting the band and am also thinking of doing some with contrasting fabric for fun.
